Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Reflect

Acting on our sinful nature, we erect barricades that separate and divide, but Christ came to topple them. Is there a group of people you've justified excluding because of your differences? If Christ sat down with you right now, how might he challenge you in your thinking? How might he challenge our nation?

Father, you didn't just polish, remodel, or restore us when your reconciled us. You made us new creations. Shine a light and help us knock down the walls of separation so we can join in your redemptive work. Amen.
