🍁It’s Fall Y’all🍂
So sorry for the cheesiness, but it had to be said! We had an amazing kick off to our year, small groups are made and leaders are having a blast leading the students! Now, entering our fall time with CHAOS and so many cool things are happening within the next few months! Here are some updates and upcoming coming events for CHAOS.
Usually every fall we head to Riverside for a “Recharge” weekend, But some hard news happened. Riverside usually has 3 weeks of jr high students and this year they combined it to just one week, which then already filled up already last month (this isn’t normal, and maybe next year they will bring back more weeks) I know this is special time for most kids, so we will make sure to bring it back again! We have been exploring other options for the future!
We have a few really cool events planned and we want to invite everyone!
October 14th (No school for CF) 🏎⛳️⚾️We will be going to Palmers for an afternoon fun time! 12:30-2 pm! Bring $14 for mini golfing, go kart, batting cage etc!
October 26th (Small Group Night) 🥷Chaos will not have regular programming, but a night to hang out with their leaders at NinjaU - more details like $, times to come!
November 19th (Service Day) - 🧹🍂🗑We want to take a moment to help give back to our community by having a CHAOS Service Day! We will be helping with projects around Orchard Hill Church, Naz Lutheran, Riverview Bible Conference, and the schools! Acts 20:35
December 14th (Christmas Party) - 🎄🎉 This will be the last CHAOS before Christmas break! We will then return in January for regular programming!
CURRENT SERIES - What's The Point
This week we will be starting a new 3 week series "What's The Point". We will explore answering the question "What's the point of following Jesus". We will be talking about how Jesus is real. Our sin causes issues, and we all have issues, and Jesus came to show us He is greater than all our issues. It's worth following Jesus because when we are weak then he is strong.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
